BrushBite stores your food photos and AI-generated images on your device using local storage (SwiftData). If you enable iCloud Sync, this data is also synced to your private iCloud account via CloudKit. We do not collect analytics or advertising identifiers.
When you add a food item, your photo is sent to OpenAI through our secure proxy to generate a text description and styled image. OpenAI's data usage policy applies to that processing. No other third-party services receive your data.
BrushBite does not track you across apps or websites. We do not use advertising identifiers.
Data is stored locally on your device and, if iCloud Sync is enabled, in your private iCloud CloudKit database. Deleting the app removes local data from that device; iCloud-synced data may remain available on your other signed-in devices.
BrushBite is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
We may update this policy. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
